Supporters and Champions Info Page

Some have questioned the need for a boycott of those who sabotaged the effort, and have called for a more positive approach. So we will begin the info page on those who Supported and Championed the Yes on 19 cause. So let us know who you saw beating the streets to make cannabis legal. Let us thank these supporters and champions.

  1. Thanks, as I almost didn’t deserve it. I think Matt Fennel needs to be on this list, I was going to add Joshua Potter, but I see is already rightly there.

  2. Rather than boycotting these businesses, perhaps the proponents of legalization could convene a meeting with these organizations to find out specifically why they voted against Proposition 19.

Most likely when people vote against something it is because they feel (rightly or wrongly) that they were not consulted in any way and that their voices were not being heard.

We need to work together. While it may be advisable to understand who voted against Proposition 19, I would suggest using the method that the Founding Fathers used when they wrote the Declaration of Independence. There were dissenters in that group who probably wanted to realign back with England and yet all agreed to delegate the task of writing the Declaration of Independence to Thomas Jefferson.

  3. I’m honored to have been mentioned and nominate Shannon Lamoureux and Victoria White two out-of-state Legalizers whose honesty, sincerity and sanity grace our Movement, and Donald Emerick of LA who took the issue to the “Vote No on Prop 19” page and called them a bunch of idiots.

  4. Ryan Thompson and most of the members of the group, “Dispensaries, if you don’t support legalization I won’t support you.”

  5. Valerie Leveronie Corral and WAMM. Danny DeVito. Seattle Hempfest. Washington activists in general.

  6. Wow. It’s an honor to be on this list. I don’t know everyone here, but those I have worked with have earned a ton of respect from me. It most certainly helps to have others to work with, it’s rough terrain here in IL. I look forward to meeting those whose path I’ve not crossed yet and will do my best to live up to the Cannabis Warrior title. Onward march!

  7. Thank you to all those wonderful supporters of prop 19. As for those stoners and growers who supported continued prohibition: If I can’t say anything nice I won’t say it, so I have nothing to say to you.
